When did you start your website and why?

Last week. Because we are looking for people to rent our chalets for the winter season this year, and we think people will be looking for their winter holidays when they have just come back from the summer holidays this year

Please give us a short summary of your business

Chilled Mountain provide special holidays to select groups. Specialising in family and group holidays for the 30+ age range, the company will provide comfortable accommodation and simple services within small friendly resorts with access to snow sure high altitude skiing on a grand scale

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Choosing which hosting company to go with, there are so many options with diffrent ppricing models, its difficult to work out who is giving you the best deal

What was your biggest mistake?

Offering to do it myself rather than paying a design agency

Who maintains your website and why?

I do, (because I was stupid enough to volenteer)

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

Actually the business has not yet benefitted, I am still working on getting the page shown on google and driving traffic towards us

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

I think that e-commerce is still a growing market, the main problem as I see it is the delvery channel. I order a lot of thinngs on line, and I work during the week, so I can never have things delivered to home. More and more companies are allowing deliveries to your workplace, but even thats not convienient for all deleiveries.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

Search engines are excellent from the point of view of the internet user, they are the only way to find what you want. However from the point of view of the webmaster they are more of a necessary evil

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I don't know yet, I have tried your site, and promting it with google and adding it to variuos other search engines, and the site is too new to actually see if there is any business coming from it.
