What inspired you to launch your own website?
To get more exposure to the travelling public compared to simply uploading a thumbnail in a single villa rental site.

This is my first site.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The villa is located in Esentepe Cyprus and has the most spectacular sea views....so the domain name came from that... http://www.esentepe-seaview.com
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
It is perhaps the most complete villa rental site I have ever visited. It offers a lot of information about the villa itself complete with photo gallery, videos, dynamically updated booking calendar, etc. It also includes maps and driving information so that clients can find it easilly. The site also provides information on local area attractions, restaurants, shops, activities, and historical sites. The contact page includes methods to reach us by local phone, mobile phone, UK number redirect, as well as a form-mailer.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it and enjoy it and to let select clients enjoy it during periods we cannot be there ourselves.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The villa required far more time and money than anything we will ever earn renting it, but the income does help finance maintenance and ongoing costs to keep it in tip top shape.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would pay someone else to help promote the property, maintain the site, build the links, optimize the search engines, etc.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Installing the comforts of a full size backup diesele generator, broadband wireless internet, heated swimming pool, etc. required a lot of patience and attention to detail to get it right.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Taking the mental leap to build an off plan property in Cyprus.

We launched the site in Feb 2007 and will keep it indefinitely.
