Cyprus travel Cyprus Village Holidays Interview
Name of your website?

Cyprus Village Holidays

Your name?

Costas

Your Location (city, etc)

Limassol

When did you start your website and why?

cyprus-village-holidays.com has come about after years of working with Agrotourism, we have a traditional village house in Kalavasos which belonged to the family which we converted in 1994 and which we have been letting out to visitors ever since. The concept behind Agrotourism and the traditional holiday is very aparent in Kontoyiannis House and quite a few of our other village houses.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

Cyprus Village Holidays and all our associated websites are not travel agents and are not members of any travel agency. We are a group of family run businesses who offer a variety of family run properties for rent. Websites were created as go-between for the paying guest and the proprietor. This is not an automatic response website and there are genuine people always available to reply to your questions, if we cannot help we will refer you to someone who can.

What kind of properties do you list on your website?

The properties on this site are traditional village houses or houses in villages some with pools and some without. We've also included some the holiday apartments by the sea in Limassol, Governors beach and Pissouri village which are great for peace and relaxation. Our aim is to provide properties which are in locations that are indicative of the Cyprus Lifestyle, which is one of relaxation, peace and tranquility yet full of fun and excitement! More will be added from time to time but we are going to concentrate on quality not quantity!

Living in Cyprus Interview

By Interviewer at 05/12/07 12:37
Cyprus expats Living in Cyprus Interview
Name of your website? (NOT url, http://etc)

Living in Cyprus

Your name?

Sue

Your Location (city, etc)

Larnaka, Cyprus

When did you start your website and why?

I started at the end of April 2007. The idea was to provide a general resource site for ex-pats in Cyprus - not a portal or a list of links, but general information on as many topics as possible, to be expanded frequently.

Who maintains your website and why?

I maintain my website. I'm a retired home educator, and already run a large site about home education in the UK (Home Education) and a blog about day-to-day life in Cyprus (Cyprus Life Blog). I get several queries about living here, and decided information was better in a static site. Hence the new site.

What is your website address?

Living in Cyprus
