Costa_Rica mortgages Finally Easy Financing in Costa Rica
There is a nice website that offers financing to Americans looking to buy Costa Rican Property on credit.

The process includes US credit reports so the process should be smoother than what the banks in Costa Rica will put you through and I think a better interest rate.

This should be a boon for many Americans buying real estate in Costa Rica
