What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
The Most difficult part of this website is the total creation of it. The content and functionality, So many avenues you must consider when creating a complex website.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
The most easiest part of this website, are the communication tools. Either through email or just instant messaging. I find that customers love a tool that they can use to relay there important messages.
What was your biggest mistake?
My biggest mistake was jumping in with a web company before i did my homework about them. In the end, i didnt get what i wanted, and had to start over. Losing so much time.
Who maintains your website and why?
I am currently maintaining my website, but in the near future i will outsource that service to another company.
Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?
My business is 100% ecommerce. so my company lives and dies by the website. Plus i can have a broader reach to consumers.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
I believe ecommerce is in the infant stages. And we have not yet to see the full potential. Ecommerce is here to stay and will keep growing and growing,
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
SEO, is very important. at night i lie in bed and thinking on how to improve my website for SEO. It is vital to your success.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
Search Engines are great, but you have to remember there are alot out there.. my rule of thumb is to trust 3 engines, and you will be fine. Yahoo, Google, and MSN.. you cant go wrong with those 3.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Most popular methods i have found are SEO and PPC... that is the hottest channels to market your website.
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
I have found PPC to be very satisfying. i get immediate results... but you do pay a pretty penny.
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
I like to see some more safe guards in internet fraud. If its more safer, than i feel more people will jump in and trust doing more business on the web.
