Listings for used equipment, in and around Arkansas. To include Forestry, Construction, and Trailers.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To be able to provide Arkansans and surrounding neighbors a place to buy or sell used equipment.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

November 2007. It is www.randlequipment.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Its the name of my company.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Its the only site of its kind that is dedicated solely to Arkansans and neighbors within 50 miles of Arkansas. With a lower advertising rate, than that of my competitors.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep it for income. To be my sole source of income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Too early to tell. I have been satisfied thus far with the results.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I wouldnt. Im very satisfied with it.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, with a few minor adjustments.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting the word out.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It hasn't.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Two months. Two years.
