A community website about service groups and activities. Interested in gardening and travel allows one to meet interesting people.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Before moving to the Town of Vulcan I could not find any information about the club I wanted to join; Communities in Bloom. There are many small groups and clubs to join if a person only knew about them. As I find out about them I will continue to write about them.

How did you decide on a name for your website?
More4you is a company name and I included just included the town and province.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
There are no other similar sites in Vulcan
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I want my site to continue to be informative for the community and also it will be a main link for my Travel/Gardening site.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I think that after one month and 1200 hits my time is has been very successfully used.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would have started with the travel site instead of practicing with this site.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, I am self employed and would make the allowances needed to meet the demand. It would need to pay.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far
What has been your biggest challenge?
Learning and understanding all that is necessary to build a website. This is my first attempt.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth and business cards
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Takes longer to research and put it all together than I thought.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
2 months since I started, and I have no thoughts of stopping
What pleasure does making a website give you?
Personal satisfaction of doing something unlike what I have ever done before and the delight at using this idea to get out and meet people in the comunity.
